The Classicplay Premium playhouse on deck gives children a proper outdoor activity centre. It's built from pressure treated timber and measures 5ft x 5ft, sitting on a raised deck with a veranda. Kids get a climbing ladder, a 175cm injection moulded slide with a waterslide feature and a double swing arm fitted with both a child seat and a baby seat.
At one end there's an up and over climbing wall. One side has colourful climbing holds and a rope, the other has a cargo net. That's three different ways to climb on one unit.
Inside the house you get a solid wooden floor and Perspex acrylic windows. The roof comes with mineral felt already included. You can paint or stain the timber to match your garden.
You'll need a drill at minimum. The timber is not pre-drilled, so you'll be drilling your own holes following the included instructions. Set aside a full day for assembly and having a second person to help hold panels steady makes the job much easier.
Yes. The slide has a built-in waterslide feature that connects to a standard garden hose. There's no pump or electric parts involved, so it's simple to set up and take down whenever you want to switch between dry and wet play.
Yes. The double swing arm comes with two seats fitted together, a child seat and a baby seat. This lets siblings of different ages swing side by side rather than taking turns on a single seat.
The timber is pressure treated, which means preservative is forced into the wood fibres rather than sprayed on top. This gives longer lasting protection against rot and damp compared to untreated or surface-treated timber.
Small splits or cracks in the timber are normal for a natural wood product and happen as the wood dries and adjusts to outdoor conditions. This does not weaken the structure or affect how safely it holds together.
Yes. The timber is left untreated in terms of colour, so you can paint or stain it to match your garden or give your child's playhouse a personal look. Use a wood-safe outdoor paint or stain for the best results.
Mineral felt is included for the roof, along with door fixings for finishing touches. You won't need to source these separately before building.
The playhouse itself measures 5ft x 5ft (roughly 152cm x 152cm) on its raised deck, but you'll need extra clearance around it for the swing arm and slide to operate safely. Measure your garden space including a safety margin before ordering.
